The Kid

The kid...the new guy...it's funny being that guy even though I've been playing softball since 1979. Last spring was my first season playing in the senior leauge and what's weird....is that I did feel like a kid again! Like a kid who is inspired! Seeing these guy's in their 50's, 60's, and yes 70's playing ball, the way I remember playing as a kid, when you laughed at yourself, high fived the the guy on the other team who just hit a double, and having a beer with everyone who just wasn't ready to go home on a beautiful summer night.
